2. About us
2.1 We are a small family run business, which has been trading since 1987 most of our work is from recommendations & most of our customers are regulars. We aim to attract new customers and give them a good enough deal so they would feel obliged to call again
2.2 We aim to satisfy, We are very reasonable and always try to help and resolve any problems that might appear.
3.1 We specialise in second hand furniture. We always try to keep a good stock of clean tidy & modern furniture.
3.2 We always give the furniture a polish and a quick clean as it comes in, we do not professionally clean any items. As most of our furniture has been used we would recommend the customer to clean or get any items professionally cleaned before use.
3.3 All reconditioned electrical appliances on this site have been tested and are guaranteed from one to three months.
The Guarantee - we will send out an engineer to try and fix the fault, if the fault can not be fixed a changeover will be given providing we have a changeover in stock
if we do not have a changeover in stock or we cannot provide a changeover within one week a refund may be given, taking off 10% a month for usage of the appliance
Basically - if you pay £100 for a washing machine with a three month guarantee and on the third month the appliance goes down and a refund is requested a 30% charge will be applied and the customer will receive a 70% refund
3.4 All gas appliances on this site have been tested and fully reconditioned by a gas safe engineer. All gas appliances are guaranteed for six months by a different company all details and customer information about the purchase of gas appliance will be passed on to the the gas engineer to be used as necessary.
3.5 All New appliances Will be guaranteed by the manufacturer. Inside the appliance you will find a guarantee form to be filled out and sent off.
Any problems with new appliances all calls should be made direct to the manufacturer.
4. Buying furniture
4.1 We buy all household furniture, our agent will call out and give a price, if an agreement has been made on the price a date will be arranged for collection.
4.2 We always recommend selling your furniture through private advertising this way you will receive a maximum price on your items. We are not trying to mislead anyone so basically we make a profit on the items we purchase we try to give a reasonable price taking into consideration
- Free & fast collections in a large van,
- Labour ( Two man lift, up and down stairs )
- Storage ( Rent, rates )
This all costs money If this was all free then we would be in a position to give a better price, That is why we always advise to sell private.
We are a quick sale option we call out within a couple of days & within the same week or the same day the furniture is removed.
4.3 We will call out and remove large items of furniture from any room in the home.
Please note we will not be liable for any damage caused. we have been moving furniture in & out of peoples homes for many years, We do know what we are doing but as furniture ( suites, sofas, settees ) are getting bigger and houses are are being built smaller sometimes slight damage may occur.
We would suggest that the seller has the furniture outside ready to be collected as this would save us doing any damage.
This is not a request we are always willing to remove the furniture from any room in the home as it is not always convenient for the seller but we will not be liable for any damage caused.
5.1 In our advert we will give a quick and brief description
We will provide as much detail of any item upon request.
Most of our items are used :
- An item that has been previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended.
5.2 Our prices may change depending on how long the item has been in stock. As we are in a small premises at the moment we may reduce items for a quick sale to bring more stock in.
All offers will be considered.
6.1 We will deliver all over the North west
Collections are welcome, A discount will be given for large items that are collected.

6.2 The buyer must give a full address, post code & contact telephone Number for a delivery
The buyer must give a description of the property eg.
- Flat ( stairs, lift )
Then a delivery price will be given taking into consideration the premises & distance.
We will provide measurements for all of our products upon request.
The Buyer is to make sure all items they have requested will fit, If the buyer is in a flat with lift access they must make sure the item will fit in the lift and the lift is operational on the day of delivery, if not there will be a charge for carrying up the stairs depending on the weight and items the charge will be made by the delivery team. If the buyer is not happy with the charge the items will be left in the lobby. If the buyer then decides he does not want the item a refund will be given by the same means the payment was received minus :
- Delivery charge This is none refundable.
- And a further 20% charge will be deducted for our time and labour.
We apologise in advance if this is the case all we ask is for the buyer to measure up.
